Isabella is from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Today she is heartbroken and confused because racism has caused parts of her city to be burned and destroyed. This makes her fearful. George Floyd, an African American man, was killed by a white police officer. She has always trusted police officers and doesn't know what to think. She knows that it's okay to be confused and that there is work to be done with the human systems. She sees the beauty of all people, no matter how they look or if they are rich or poor. She has hope for humanity, and she wants everyone to know that Black Lives matter, too.
